Announcing our May FURPOWER recipient!

We're so excited to announce that the Beaufort Community Cat Project is our May FURPOWER recipient!

The Beaufort Community Cat Project (http://beaufortcats.org) is an all-volunteer organization advocating non lethal methods to reduce the free-roaming cat population using Trap-Neuter-Return. They are a charitable non-profit organization with federal tax exempt status, 501(c)(3).

Thanks so much to everyone who submitted organizations for consideration!

We have lots of fun activities this month to raise awareness of the BCCP so stay tuned!

Go FURPOWER!

  2. Thank you for choosing BCCP as your May FURPOWER recipient!!! This is so exciting! The donation will be used to sterilize feral cats and reduce the number of cats being trapped, taken to the shelter and euthanized.

    Thanks again,
    Dana and The Creek Cats

    P.S. Thank you, Kitten Rescue!

  10. Oops, forgot to post the link to this great blog post from Dana, the Creek Cats' mom - it shows a little bit of the volunteer work she does to help BCCP. http://creeklife.wordpress.com/2009/04/26/smelly-cat/

You can see that the BCCP volunteers work really hard, so we're very happy that they were chosen this month.
